Peacock Bowls
 
Resembling a kaleidoscope or a peacock this bowl is produced from Arizona Carob, American Curly Maple and African Ebony woods.
The segments, staves and black veneer pieces total 121
Size is 4 1/2 inches at base and 13 1/2 inches at top of bowl and it is finished with sanding sealer and polyurethane.
POTPOURRI BOWL SOUTHWESTERN VESSEL
 Purple Heart and Yellow Heart woods with black & yellow
veneers. 
192 pieces of segments & veneers.
Utilizing a purchased pewter top. 
Height of bowl is 6 3/4 in.  Top is 4 in. Base is 4 in. 
Middle is 7 1/2 in.
Finished with polyurethane
This segmented bowl is 12 inches in diameter and 13 inches tall.
The Feature Ring is considered an "Indian Blanket" design with
590 pieces. The amount of segmented pieces in the bowl totals 770.
The wood consists of Black Walnut, White Maple, African Padauk
and Curly Maple. A piece of turquoise stone was placed into a hole
that developed during turning. It has two coats of sanding sealer and
six coats of poly urethane
(thinned with mineral spirits) giving it a spectacular mirror finish.

Open Ornamental Bowl



This bowl has 84 pieces of hard white maple and black walnut.
Height is 5-1/3"in.
Top width is 9", and base width is 6".

Finished with several coats of wipe on Tung Oil.
