Minor Injuries:
When you split a nail, get a hang nail, or sand the end too close (to your fingers), wash and dry the affected area and put CA glue over it. (102 Uses for Crazy Glue) You might have to apply two or more coats sometimes. This will seal the nail and help prevent it from snagging. This is also good for paper cuts. Just make sure you clean the area as bacteria can be trapped in the cut under the CA glue.

Determining How Old Your Titebond Glue Is:
For Titebond® products there should be a number somewhere close to the top of the bottle. The first number represents the final digit of the year the glue was produced; it’s followed by a letter designating the month. (“A” represents January, “B” February, and so forth, skipping “I”). 4K521H on the container means: 2004, October. Ignore the rest of the code, which relates to the particular batch of glue.

If the cords from your power tools are always getting in the way when you store them, try this: Wrap the cord up and slip it into a cardboard tube from a roll of toilet paper. The tubes will eventually wear out, but chances are you probably will have an endless supply of them.
