- Pull arm out, then down, and push back toward fence when cutting.
- Do not cut fence when making compound cuts
- Do not cross arms when cutting.
- Saw locks at common angles. Squeeze trigger, rotate to desired angle, then push lever down to lock in place. Return and lock at 90 degrees when done.
- Lock miter slide when doing small cuts (using as chop saw).
- Place straight edge of board against fence when possible.
- If not possible, put convex side (bowed or curved side) against back to prevent pinching of blade.
- Keep table top clear of tools and other objects.
- No sanding of MDF, particle board, or Melamine. The resins will gum up the abrasive paper.
- Clamp round objects or consider using a band-saw.
- Use stop clamp when doing repetitive cuts
- Open vacuum outlet before using and close when finished.
- Do not cross arms when cutting.
- When cutting small pieces, let blade come to complete stop before raising it to prevent small pieces from flying out.
- Laser is not dead accurate. Use it as a guide, not for the exact cut (turn off laser when finished).
- You can cross cut up to 11 ¾-(12” if you raise end).
- When doing compound miters, square machine up when finished.
