Peggy Bair Sainato

Peggy joined the Woodshop in the spring of 2015, a month or so after her husband Dan joined. She had never done any woodworking before, although she was familiar with various building tools since her father built her childhood home in Ohio all by himself. She has her undergraduate degree in Biology and graduate work in computer technology, and has worked in several industries as a bacteriologist, cellular immuniologist, computer programmer, institutional research specialist, knowledgebase manager, IT director and program manager.

She has had great fun learning how to make end grain cutting boards, crumb boxes and other kitchen tools. Peggy was elected to the Woodshop board as a director in the spring of 2016 and hopes to have a long and enjoyable relationship with the Woodworking Club.
