The Sun City West Wood Working Club maintains a comprehensive library for work working resources. The library has all major woodworking magazines, dozens of woodworking books and video DVD’s on a wide variety of woodworking method and skills.
Members may check out (without charge) wood working magazines and CD’s on many wood working topics. The library computer has all of the library’s resources indexed. Example, if you wanted to build a bench, a search would indicate which magazine by resource number.
In addition, there is woodworking specific software that can be used to design, create cut lists, and create wood turning projects.
The wood club has a CNC, that is a computer controlled router. It used for carving, signs and project parts. The library has the design software, named Aspire, that is used to create cutting/carving patterns. Training classes are offered to train members to use the CNC router.
